Mission Statement:
Village Empowerment seeks to provide communities with the knowledge of design, application, and implementation of various technologies and provide sustainable solutions across the globe that break the cycle of poverty and embrace the resources, economy, and culture present in the community.

- Meet energy, water, food, light, and other needs of people in communities globally.
- Provide service-learning opportunities for students to achieve academic objectives.
- Help participants become better citizens of the world.
- Increase understanding of people of varying cultures.
- Design sustainable systems.
- Assist in starting sustainable businesses in remote regions.
- Attract underrepresented groups to engineering and other disciplines.
